Your Strategic Marketing Partner for Growth
Hello, my name is Issy Nancarrow. I work with scale-ups to help them achieve their growth goals. I work with companies that haven’t started selling yet and have a product and need to work out how to launch it most effectively, starting from strategies to get the first low-hanging fruit to longer-term growth strategies. I also work with currently operating scale-up companies that are starting from between half a million to five million turnover that have adventurous growth goals.
I come in as an add-on to your team working closely with the leadership, the managing director, the founders, as well as any marketing or sales staff that you currently have in-house. I’ve operated as a coach, guide, and mentor to create a productive direction for commercial strategies, specifically around digital marketing, and work through the process to ensuring that those strategies are successful in the long term.
So, I’m right there with you looking at the analytics, looking at the process, and ensuring that all of the work that we do is constructive and continually improved. I also work as a coach and mentor for your current staff, and I can support with the actual application of the things that you need in order to support your goals.
So, where I work with founders, typically it starts with a discussion around what you want to achieve, in what way can I help, and that could be occasional week-on-week mentoring or it could be much more embedded into your team in terms of what is actually producing output, what do we need to do, what are our priorities, and making sure that they get done. The companies I’ve worked with typically are for the long term. I can’t actually think of one that hasn’t been with me for the long term because we build up a relationship and understanding of the product and understanding of the market and because they see results.
Now, the results that my clients get, of course, vary depending on where we start, the situation they’re at, the resources, and a large number of other factors. There are a wealth of case studies on my website. I don’t like to use stats because of how much it varies depending on the situation, but for example, in one particular scenario, we looked within a three-month period of 44% increase in turnover in a specific sales stream simply by working with the current marketing resources to look at the analytics and to readjust where the marketing budget was being spent. Um in other scenarios, I’ve worked with the the first cohort of customers that have come in and looking at how to increase the average order value, increase the loyalty, and reduce the marketing cost as a means to set up a more scalable digital marketing pipeline.
Other scenarios include working alongside founders to guide how they pitch the product, how they pitch the messaging, who the ideal customers are, and guiding them through what messages are working, what messaging are what, how we test that messaging in order to build a solid foundation of how to grow and how to sell that product, which market, where are the points of contact with the customers, and building a scalable strategy in that way.
The best way to start is simply to have a conversation. If you have a specific challenge that you are trying to overcome, a specific goal, we can have a talk. There is also a wealth of resources on my website specifically designed to support startups, and you might find some answers there. Including in those resources is up-to-date marketing tactics. Of course, that take into account changes in the marketplace, changes in marketing approaches such as gaining AI recommendations and mentions and the changes in SEO over time, and I am continuously researching new ways to scale up and new ways to be more efficient in your marketing approach.
